Terms and Conditions: The Small Print, Which We Promise Is Mostly Readable
The Tired & Fed Up Club · https://tfu-club.pages.dev Last updated: 31 October 2026
Thank you for joining a club whose main activity is not doing things. These terms are serious even if the Club isn't, so please read them. By joining or buying a membership, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
The Tired & Fed Up Club ("the Club", "we", "us") is run by Sam G. Kenway, a sole trader in the United Kingdom.
2. What the Club is (and isn't)
2.1 The Club is a light-hearted online social club. Members receive a digital membership card with a membership number in the form TFU-####-####.
2.2 The card is for entertainment only. It has no legal, official, medical or employment status. It does not excuse you from any legal, contractual, work, school or other obligation, and no one is required to accept it. You must not present it as genuine identification or use it to mislead anyone.
2.3 Everything we supply is digital content. Nothing is posted or shipped.
3. Eligibility and accounts
3.1 You must be aged 13 or over to join, and 18 or over to buy a paid tier or gift.
3.2 You must give accurate details and keep your contact email up to date.
3.3 Names or text you choose for your card must not be unlawful, offensive, defamatory, impersonate anyone, or infringe anyone's rights. We may refuse or change card details that break this rule.
4. Membership tiers and prices
| Tier | Price | Term |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Free | Ongoing until closed |
| Silver | £1.19 per year (incl. VAT) | 12 months, auto-renews |
| Gold | £2.39 per year (incl. VAT) | 12 months, auto-renews |
| Platinum | £5.99 per year (incl. VAT) | 12 months, auto-renews |
4.1 Prices are in pounds sterling and include UK VAT at 20%. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant (seller of record) for your purchase and calculates and collects any VAT or sales tax due. The Club itself is not registered for VAT. If you buy from outside the UK, the tax, and so the total, may differ, and checkout may show your local currency; the total shown at checkout is the amount you pay.
4.2 Tier benefits are described on the website at the time of purchase.
4.3 The contract is formed when we confirm your order by email.
5. Payment
5.1 Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details.
5.2 If a payment fails, we may move your membership to the Standard tier until payment is made.
6. Automatic renewal
6.1 Paid tiers renew automatically every 12 months at the price shown at sign-up, charged to the same payment method, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
6.2 We will email you a reminder at least 14 days before each renewal, stating the date and the amount.
6.3 How to cancel auto-renewal: cancel using the "Manage membership" link on the website, which opens our secure Stripe customer portal, or by emailing tiredfedupclub@mail.grokbot.com. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep your paid benefits until the end of the current paid year, then move to the Standard tier.
6.4 If we change the price of a tier, we will tell you at least 30 days before the renewal it applies to, and you can cancel before then.
6.5 Full refund on request: you can ask for a full refund of any paid membership, gift or renewal at any time, with no questions asked. Details, and your statutory rights, are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
7. Your 14-day cancellation right (summary)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days to cancel a contract made online. For digital content, that right is lost once supply begins only if you expressly agreed to immediate supply and acknowledged you would lose the right. Full details are in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
8. Gift memberships
8.1 A gift membership is a paid tier bought by one person (the "purchaser") for another (the "recipient"). It covers one year and does not auto-renew unless the recipient chooses to continue it on their own payment method.
8.2 The purchaser must have the recipient's permission to give us their name and email address.
8.3 Gifts are delivered by email using a code or link. Gift codes must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase. They cannot be exchanged for cash, and they must not be resold.
8.4 The purchaser is the customer for the gift contract. Cancellation and refund rights for gifts belong to the purchaser, as set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
9. Your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015
Digital content we supply must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you are entitled to a repair or replacement, or in some cases a price reduction or refund. If faulty digital content damages your device or other digital content and this happens because we did not use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay compensation. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
10. Intellectual property
The website, card designs, logos and content belong to us or our licensors. You may display, print and share your own card for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, sell or create fake cards.
11. Ending a membership
11.1 You can close your membership at any time by emailing us.
11.2 We may suspend or close a membership if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, for example by misusing the card to mislead people or by abusive conduct. If we close a paid membership for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund the unused part of the fee.
11.3 We may stop running the Club. If we do, we will give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any paid fees.
12. Our liability
12.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
12.2 We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for breach of your statutory rights.
12.3 We are not responsible for how other people react to your card, or for any consequences of relying on it as an excuse. The card is a joke, and you use it at your own discretion.
12.4 We supply the Club for domestic and private use only. We are not liable to you for loss of profit, business or business opportunity.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law. We will tell you about significant changes by email before they take effect. If you do not agree, you can cancel, and if you do so before the change takes effect you will receive a refund of the unused part of any paid fee.
14. Complaints
If something goes wrong, email tiredfedupclub@mail.grokbot.com. We aim to reply within 14 days.
15. Law and courts
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts, and you keep the protection of the mandatory laws where you live.
16. Other terms
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. You may not transfer your membership to anyone else without our agreement, except by using a gift membership as described above. Only you and we have rights under these terms, and no third party may enforce them.
